This gallery features photographs of events occurring at LSU Health Sciences Center - New Orleans campuses, its institutional affiliates, and its emergency response activities from August 29, 2005 to December 31, 2005.
Subject matter included: views of flooded downtown campus, aerial views of surrounding areas, staging and actions of emergency response teams, emergency healthcare delivery settings in the Poland Street Wharf and on the USNHS Comfort, makeshift classrooms in Baton Rouge and on the Finnish passenger ferry "Finnjet", faculty and administrators gathered at public recovery events, and damaged and moldy materials and supplies in a research lab.
