"The Tiger" was the Louisiana State University School of Medicine Student Newspaper published weekly then bimonthly across 8 volumes from September 19th, 1932 to May 24, 1940.
In addition to reporting on general current events and school-specific news, regular columns include: Book Reviews, Theater Listings, Freshman Class News, News of the Faculty, Socials, Tiger Talk, Sports, and Test Your Medical Knowledge.
Of particular interest is the "History of Charity Hospital" column found in Volume 1, Numbers 1-13, and "Interesting Case Reports" found in all issues.
