Abstract
Migraines affect millions of individuals worldwide daily. Because they are often debilitating, patients often have a significantly impacted quality of life and level of function. Treatments for headaches and migraines often start conservatively with lifestyle modifications and over-the-counter nonpharmaceutical and pharmaceutical management. If that does not provide adequate relief, more interventional treatments such as cervical epidural steroid injections (CESIs) have emerged as a noteworthy interventional therapy. This offers an additional form of treatment and relief for the patients to tackle the grappling burden of persistent migraines. This introduction will explore the role of CESIs and their use for migraines and headaches.
