Abstract

With recent news about a quantum computer, it is clear that quantum computing is cresting the horizon of the mainstream. It may be a distant horizon, but quantum computing is increasingly becoming not just a trope of science fiction but also a near future reality. Moreover, once the mechanisms of quantum computing have been ironed out, it has the potential to revolutionize the world of computing.
