Toe Louisiana Tumor Registry (LTR) is pleased to release Cancer in Louisiana, Volume 9, which provides for the first time statewide cancer statistics for both incidence and mortality, 1989-1993. This monograph reflects the efforts not only of the L TR central office research team but also of staff from the eight regional registries and of hospital registrars and abstractors in reporting facilities throughout the state. As a result of their diligence, support and effort, we are able to translate the data into meaningful information.
