Description

Systemic upper extremity aneurysms and pseudoaneurysms are rare in pediatric patients. We report a unique case of idiopathic left axillary artery pseudoaneurysm in a 3-month-old male. After failure of an ultrasound guided thrombin injection, a primary repair of the axillary artery was performed with an end-to-end anastomosis. Patient had a full recovery with no indication of stenosis in the peripheral vasculature of the upper extremity.
