Abstract
The small diameter and subtle appearance of lymph ducts belie their importance in collecting lymph and chyle for entry into the systemic circulation. Though not always present as a single right lymphatic duct, it is important that surgeons dissecting near the right venous angle be cautious of the variability in route and terminations of the lymphatic trunks that may come together to form the right lymphatic duct.
