Abstract
Our case is a 41-year-old male with history of neurofibromatosis type 2, previous right vestibular schwannoma resection, presenting with a left facial schwannoma. The tumor involved all intra-temporal nerve segments. The patient underwent gross total resection and ipsilateral auditory brainstem implantation via translabyrinthine approach. Due to root entry zone involvement of tumor, immediate facial nerve reconstruction was prohibited. He will have interval dynamic facial reanimation. Postactivation ABI data will be in the final video.
