Abstract
Masculinizing top surgery is often the first surgical procedure requested by transmasculine individuals and may significantly decrease gender dysphoria. Due to greater social acceptance and visibility, this procedure is becoming increasingly performed in the United States. Several studies have subsequently elucidated the most common surgical complications associated with masculinizing top surgery. This chapter will discuss nuances to surgical techniques to achieve reproducible esthetic results. Additionally, the chapter will address techniques to manage adverse top surgery outcomes.
