Pharmacological Treatment of Conduct Disorder and Comorbidities

Description
Conduct disorder, a psychiatric condition affecting children and adolescents, has become more prevalent in the last thirty years. This increased prevalence, coupled with awareness of the associated neurocognitive developmental implications, has led to advancements in the treatment modalities of conduct disorder. Intervention and treatment consist primarily of family programs, individual therapy, and pharmacotherapy. This poster will review the case of a 14-year-old male with conduct disorder, ADHD, and MDD who has been treated with a myriad of medications over time, including escitalopram and quetiapine. Using a literature review of various meta-analysis studies, this poster will review the medications found to be effective in the treatment of conduct disorder and its associated comorbidities.
