The Student Interest Group for Music and the Arts' (SIGMA) visual art exhibition The Art of Medicine! provides an opportunity to showcase the creative talent of medical school students, faculty and staff.
About SIGMA: Student Interest Group for Music and the Arts is a group of medical students with a passion for things other than the hard sciences. Members are dancers, musicians, DJs, painters, poets and everything in between. Events are usually a good balance between an escape from school and a fundraiser for various charities. Past beneficiaries have included Camp Tiger, Make Music NOLA, Operation SMILE, and the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic.
